The Bataleon ThunderStorm Snowboard doesn't announce itself. It just shows up — powder day, park lap, variable mess of a Thursday afternoon — and handles all of it without making a production out of any of it. Directional when the mountain demands it, switch when the park calls for it, and quietly capable of outperforming boards that cost considerably more and brag considerably louder. Dual Super Tubes and a medium-stiff flex keep it snappy and high-energy across whatever terrain the day throws at you. Rocker Type:
Low Camber: Camber profiles are defined from low to high. Higher camber make for more dynamic boards that need to be ridden more aggressively to get maximum performance. Lower camber boards are smoother on lower speeds and in powder. All camber profiles run from nose to tail.

3D Directional Twin: Designed for ultimate versatility. Nose is just longer than the tail for carving and float. 3D Specifically tuned for directional twins, this adds extra side-base uplift at the widest contact points of the nose and tail.
3BT Triple Base Technology: Triple Base Technology™ is awesome. The center base remains flat, while the nose and tail curve upward. The boards turn smoother and faster and it helps when you are not completely clean on your landings.
SideKick™: By increasing the sidebase uplift just beyond the widest points of the nose and tail, SideKick™ gives the tips of the snowboard a hull-like shape, improving float in deep snow and enabling the board to roll smoothly and quickly from edge to edge.
Core:
Ultra Light Core: A 70/30 Paulownia and Poplar blend that offers awesome strength to weight.
Laminates:
Tri-Ax Laminate: Bataleon's three-way fiberglass weave is light, strong and crazy responsive. It is used to beef up the flex pattern on more aggressive boards.
Carbon Stringers: Carbon is incredibly lightweight and delivers explosive pop, quick edge response, and exceptional dampening at high speeds. By incorporating carbon fiber stringers into the board’s construction, we can fine-tune the flex and elevate your ride to the next level. Bataleon strategically place carbon stringers in specific areas of the board to fine-tune the feel of each model.
D.S.T. Supertubes: Dual carbon Super Tubes place a Super Tube on each side of the board to enhance pop and give the camber more snap.
Base:
Ultra Glide S: Premium, 7000-grade sintered base reserved for Bataleon's high-end models.
Topsheet:
Step Down Rails: Unique, beveled 3D profile carved into the edges of the topsheet.
