The Bataleon Disaster+ Snowboard still has bad ideas. It's just gotten a lot better at landing them. The classic Disaster is never short on personality. The + just gave it the tools to back itself up. Carbon stringers and Aramid X-Ply add snap, stability, and durability that you'll feel the second things get serious — bigger features, harder charging, the kind of session that separates a good trick from a great one. New MultiSync Sidecut keeps it quick and reactive between the feet, with added control when speeds pick up and the stakes quietly follow. Press it, butter it, find the rail nobody else is hitting, session the side hit until you've got it perfect — the Disaster+ handles all of it without losing the loose, playful spirit that made the original worth riding in the first place. Same mischief with considerably more consequence management. A little chaos goes a long way, the Disaster+ just takes it further. *Please Note: This is a factory blem product. Rocker Type:
Medium Camber: Camber profiles are defined from low to high. Higher camber make for more dynamic boards that need to be ridden more aggressively to get maximum performance. Lower camber boards are smoother on lower speeds and in powder. All camber profiles run from nose to tail. higher is not always better...

Shape:
3D Twin Shape: The nose and tail have the exact same shape, flex, and length. The stance is perfectly centered, allowing the board to ride identically in regular or switch stances. 3D Specifically tuned for true twins, this adds extra side-base uplift at the widest contact points of the nose and tail.
3BT Triple Base Technology: Triple Base Technology™ is awesome. The center base remains flat, while the nose and tail curve upward. The boards turn smoother and faster and it helps when you are not completely clean on your landings.
SideKick™: By increasing the sidebase uplift just beyond the widest points of the nose and tail, SideKick™ gives the tips of the snowboard a hull-like shape, improving float in deep snow and enabling the board to roll smoothly and quickly from edge to edge.
MultiSync™ Sidecut: New from Bataleon, this sidecut seamlessly blends multiple radii, designed to optimize the shape of your turn and improve edge grip, response, and control in all conditions. Longer radii in the tip and tail prevent oversteering and allow the snowboard to track straight between features. Short radii in between the feet help keep the snowboard reactive and nimble, and allow the rider to create consistent edge pressure.
Core:
Light Core: A 2:2 blend of Poplar and Paulownia creates a well-balanced core that is both lively and strong.
Laminates:
Bi-Ax Laminate: A traditional two-way weave that is light, strong, and playful; it keeps the board snappy without adding torsional stiffness, which is great for getting creative.
Carbon Stringers: Carbon is incredibly lightweight and delivers explosive pop, quick edge response, and exceptional dampening at high speeds. By incorporating carbon fiber stringers into the board’s construction, we can fine-tune the flex and elevate your ride to the next level. Bataleon strategically place carbon stringers in specific areas of the board to fine-tune the feel of each model.
C.S.T. (Central Super Tube): Hollow carbon cylinders inserted directly into the center of the woodcore. They reinforce camber, reduce weight, and significantly increase pop. By varying their placement, we can further fine-tune the board's performance.
Aramid X-Ply: High-tech reinforcement laminate. Aramid is a synthetic fiber known for exceptional strength, heat resistance, and low weight.
Base:
Hyper Glide S: Bataleon's standard sintered base that’s durable and fast – and even faster when you keep it waxed.
