Burton Family Tree High Fidelity Splitboard 2027

Some people wait for the powder alert, others are already skinning before the rest of the world has finished its coffee. The Burton Family Tree High Fidelity Splitboard was built for the second group. Born from the demands of the Natural Selection Tour and shaped by riders who make steep faces, consequential lines, and untouched terrain look like home, this is a splitboard with one thing on its mind: the descent. The climb is simply the price of admission. Balanced Freeride Geometry keep it composed when the terrain gets serious and a lightweight Super Fly II 700G Splitboard Core with Carbon Highlights keeps the uphill surprisingly manageable. Remote terrain. Big objectives. The kind of days that start in the dark and end with stories to last a lifetime.

Product Details

Rocker Type:
Directional Camber: Camber under both feet for stability through deep-diving turns and variable conditions and a rockered nose that adds lift for increased float.
Flex:
Flex Rating: 6 - 9 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff)
Directional Flex: Increased pop in the tail and a more resilient nose that allows riders to easily maintain control through all terrain and conditions.
Infinite Ride™: This Burton-exclusive technology allows maximized pop and strength by overbuilding the board, then putting it in a machine that breaks in the board for you. Whether you choose to ride Flat Top, Flying V™, or Camber, rest assured that with Infinite Ride™ your board will maintain its flex, pop, and feel from the first day forward, season after season
Core:
Super Fly II™ 700G Splitboard Core: Uses stronger and lighter wood to provide pop and strength while reducing overall weight.
Squeezebox: Burton's most versatile Squeezebox profile improves pop and performance through the balance of thicker, more powerful core sections with thinner, more flexible sections. Rider energy is transferred outward from beneath the feet, energizing the tip and tail while making the board snappier, more stable and easier to manipulate.
Laminates:
45° Carbon Highlights: Carbon Highlights optimizes each layer of the fiberglass matrix and adds a full tip-to-tail carbon layer to reduce weight and fine tune torsional feel to achieve different ride characteristics. A 60° fiber angle creates a highly maneuverable and playful feel, while a 45° fiber angle provides a more aggressive ride.
Base:
Sintered WFO: Infusing a specially formulated wax deep into the pores of this extra-absorbent, high-density sintered material results in an ultra-durable base that stays wide open all season and in any condition
Additional Features:
Freeride Focus: Family Tree boards are designed with a freeride mindset for the best off-piste turns possible.
Super Sap® Epoxy: A resin formulated with bio-based materials that reduces the carbon footprint by 50% over conventional all-petroleum-based epoxies. Less oil consumption means even less of a carbon footprint per board.
Secure Skin Attachment: Skin-ready tail design makes for a seamless connection with Burton split skins.
Binding Compatibility:
Split Channel: Go ahead and get picky with your splitboarding stance, and continue to fine-tune it as the season unfolds. With the Split Channel, you get the strongest, fastest, easiest, and most adjustable mounting system ever offered on a splitboard. The days of compromise are officially over. All Burton splitboards with the Split Channel come with pucks pre-mounted for easy setup.
Shape:
Balanced Freeride Geometry: Burton's Balanced Freeride Geometry ends the age-old twin vs directional debate with setback camber and a sidecut that is centered on your stance to create a twin freestyle feel when riding flat base, but on edge it turns tight and quick with the float and prowess expected from a directional deck.
