Black Diamond Helio 22 Backpack

Short tours reward a light, organized kit, and the Black Diamond Helio 22 Backpack is built around exactly that. A separate avy tool compartment stores your shovel blade up so the pack keeps its shape, while a two-way zipper lets you grab a layer or bottle from the main compartment without taking it off. The monomesh back panel with wave foam sheds snow and breathes on the skin track, and the body is made from 840 denier, 100% recycled nylon. A-frame, removable diagonal and removable snowboard carries plus dual piolet loops cover whatever the morning lap turns into.
