The Lib Tech T. Rice Orca II Techno Splitboard is Travis Rice’s Natural Selection–tested power fish rebuilt for full backcountry missions, where the climb matters almost as much as the descent. A floaty Orca nose, short-radius Whale Tail, and 8m sidecut keep it surfy in deep snow but precise when terrain turns steep and technical. Carbon-loaded construction with a Paulownia and FSC-certified Aspen core keeps weight down for the skin track, while the volume-shifted design means it’s meant to be ridden about 3 cm shorter than your normal board for quick, efficient handling in tight zones.
