Built for women who bring style, power and creativity into the backcountry, the Jones Howler Splitboard blends freestyle expression with hard-charging freeride performance. Inspired by Elena Hight's iconic Howler, this new split-specific design is made for riders pushing deeper into technical terrain while still seeing every natural feature as an opportunity to slash, spin and stomp. A full camber profile delivers energetic response and confident edge hold, while the directional tapered shape keeps the ride smooth and floaty in deep snow. Stable, poppy and highly reactive, the Howler Splitboard thrives on powerful turns, playful lines, and big mountain confidence. From pillow stacks to steep powder descents, this board was made to ride boldly and beautifully.

Rocker Type:
High Power Camber: Tip-to-tail full camber profile with a high camber along the effective edge for unmatched pop. The camber profile rises towards the tail and extends to the back binding for increased stomping power on the back foot.

Forever Flex: All Jones boards are broken in using specialized machinery that mimics extreme riding use to help stabilize the flex and rocker profile of a board for it's lifetime.
Shape:
Low Tapered Directional Shape: A tapered directional board has a shape where the tail is narrower than the nose, providing enhanced control and stability in deeper snow. This design improves floatation in powder and allows for smoother turns, making it ideal for freeride and backcountry riding.
3D Flip Tips: Enhances float and grip while reducing tip catch in rough terrain.
Blunt Nose: "How a board glides in powder, crust, corn or any snow more than an inch deep is dictated by it's front contact point and just past it. Next time you are in soft snow watch how much snow comes over the corner of the nose near the contact point. The billowing snow coming out from behind the tip means you are plowing through it which is obviously slowing you down. Quick Tension Tail: Built-in climbing skin tension system using pre-cut notch that eliminates the need for a traditional skin tail clip
Progressive Sidecut: At the far ends of the sidecut, the radius is incrementally increased as the edge reaches the contact point. Gradually increasing the sidecut radius towards the contact point delivers smoother turn initiation and exit as the edge tracks in and out of the snow with a less abrupt transition.

Koroyd®: Developed from aerospace technology, award-winning Koroyd® synthetic core material is the lightest core dampening material we’ve ever tested. It absorbs vibrations and reduces tip swing weight,
enabling quicker, smoother turns, and is added directly into the woodcore.
Control Split Core: Ultralight dual density wood core made primarily out of responsibly harvested Paulownia with pockets of Poplar that offers standard setting durability, pop and response.
Laminates:
Triax Fiberglass: Multi-axis, stitched fiberglass laminate that offers a precise and responsive ride in any terrain or snow conditions.
BComp Carbon Flax Stringers: Offer the perfect performance balance as the carbon provides crazy pop and the flax sucks up chatter and reduces CO₂ emissions compared to a full carbon stringer. Developed in collaboration with the Swiss engineering firm Bcomp.
Sidewalls:
Recycled ABS: ABS plastic is one of the necessary evils of snowboard production. Jones improves the sustainability of their snowboards by using only recycled plastic.
Base:
Sintered 8000 Base: Premium sintered base material that’s ultra fast, highly wax absorbent, easy to repair and proven to be one of the most durable and long lasting base materials in the industry.
Edges:
Medium Traction Tech: Like a serrated knife slicing into the snow, Traction Tech improves your edge grip by adding multiple contact points along the running length of your board.
Recycled Edges: Bombproof steel edges made from recycled German steel, engineered for maximum strength and long-lasting durability.
Inner Edge Traction Tech: Inner edge Traction Tech improves splitboard edge grip on ascent. Three side cut "bumps" on each side of your binding keep you locked in on icy skin tracks no matter which way you are traversing.

Boltless Bridge: The Boltless Bridge eliminates split clip attachment hardware from the base of the board by re-profiling the wood core at the clips. The wood core under the clips is thicker providing better torsional stiffness and a more powerful connection at the split clips.
