That extended coverage with integrated visor shields all the vulnerable spots while MET Bimbi Secure Technology specifically protects the fontanel, so you're not stressing about the softest part of their skull during those wobbly first rides. The anti-pinch ratchet buckle means no more pinched fingers or frustrated tears when you're trying to secure the helmet, and that MET Safe-T JR Fit System with 360° head belt grows with your child instead of becoming obsolete after one season.

In-Mold Polycarbonate Shell with EPS Liner
MIPS-C2® Rotational Management System: This helmet combines child-specific safety features with a deep construction and the proven Mips® safety system, which consists of a low friction layer mounted inside the helmet. In a crash, the Mips® low friction layer is designed to move slightly inside the helmet to help redirect forces away from the head, reduce rotational impact forces and increase safety.
MET Bimbi Secure Technology: Fontanelle ("soft spot") protection. MET took special care to create child's helmets with their unique MET Bimbi Secure Technology to ensure that there's no pressure points on the fontanelle, the softest part of a developing head.
Fit:
MET Safe-T Jr Fit System with 360° Head Belt: Thanks to the MET Safe-T JR the helmet will grow up with the child's head. The retention system is easily adjustable due to the grippy nub and the 360° head belt ensures a stable and secure fit.
Extended Head Coverage: For all-round head protection.
Staps with Adjustable Dividers: Ensures an individualized fit.

Vents:
10 Vents: The internal shape features an engineered air channeling system to facilitate the airflow. To complete the safety equipment we have added an anti-insects net into the front vents of the helmet.
Additional Features:
Anti-Pinch Ratchet Buckle: The ratchet buckle makes it easier to secure the helmet avoiding unexpected pinches on the skin.
Child Seat Compatible: The shell has a purposely flattened part at the back in order to be comfortable in any child seat. It also covers a large part of the two most sensible brain areas: the back and the temples.
Reflective Rear Decal
Rear LED Light: Featuring the MET Rear Led Light the Hooray Mips offers up to 60 hours of extra visibility to spot a child in all conditions.
