Built to protect without slowing you down, the ION Elbow Pads E-PACT combine the RE ZRO Elbow Pad L2 protection system with a Space Mesh construction that breathes so your arms don't overheat mid-ride. Hot melt reinforcement adds durability exactly where impacts happen most, giving you confidence to push harder without thinking twice about your elbows.

RE ZRO®: ION's proprietary impact protection material, and the standout feature is that it's biodegradable. On impact, its molecular bonds fracture and dissipate energy as heat and sound (a shear-thinning effect), which is what gives it that flexible, but protective feel. Once disposed of in a landfill, it breaks down at the molecular level into biogas and biomass, estimated to fully "return to zero" within three to five years.
Protection:
Level 2 Protection (L2): RE ZRO's proprietary technology protects the riders through the fracture of the molecular bonds under impact, releasing energy through heat and sound, a material behavior known as shear thinning. The Supermolecules then recombine immediately after impact, RE setting to ZRO.
