Designed for growing kids and riders with smaller frames, the Hyperlite Shim Jr. Wakesurf Board features dura-shell construction to stand up to bumps and bruises while still performing like a high end EPS board. Super maneuverable for tricks in the air thanks to it's short length yet stable when you need it thanks to a mid-tail profile, the Shim Jr. the ideal board for up-and-coming riders.

Construction and Materials:
LAP Construction: Top & bottom fiberglass laminates overlap around at the rail to increase strength reinforcing the board.
Layered Glass: Hyperlite's fiberglass is available in 3 weights depending on the board. Over time, traditional woven glass fibers will separate. With layered glass every Hyperlite deck will have the same pop off the double up year after year.
Dura-Shell Construction: Catch the wave, pop a shuv, toes on the nose -- Wakesurfing is blowing up. Hyperlite's exclusive Dura-Shell construction equips you with lightweight shapes for expressing yourself on the water.
EPS Core: Expanded polystyrene foam provides a super lightweight and durable core.

Mid Tail Profile: Traditional surfboard tail shape for quick carving and maneuverability.
Diamond Tail Shape: The corners of the diamond tail deliver sharper turning characteristics.
Base:
Single Concave Base: Channels water down the center of the board for a solid and controlled feel.
Vented Tail Channels: Channels are designed to deliver traction on the water, vented channels hold that flow through the exit the tail of board maximizing their effectiveness.
