Shape:
Kicktail: Landyachtz designs their kicktails to work perfectly with each deck shape as well as with the truck and wheel setup on each complete.
Rocker: Rocker provides a more comfortable foot platform by adjusting the deck angles to a skater’s natural stance. It also adds board control and increases responsiveness under your feet.
Construction:
9-Ply Canadian Maple: Canadian Maple is a strong and proven material used in the world's best skateboards. Landyachtz sources only the finest veneers found in Eastern Canada.
Flexy: Soft and supple flex profile best suited for carving and cruising on longer boards. The bouncy nature of these decks lets you turn deeper and surf your surrounds.
Trucks:
130mm Polar Bear: Some of us still like to ride a board that is a bit on the narrower-side. And, of course, you need trucks to match it. If you step down in board size then it’s time to step it up to the 130mm Polar Bears. Sold in pairs. Bushings: 85a is softer, 90a is harder. Softer bushings are more lively but less stable – with 88a being what we usually use in our completes.
Wheels:
63mm Fatty Hawgs: Made famous as the wheel of choice for Dinghy completes, Fatty Hawgs are now available separately in a multitude of colors and patterns so you can upgrade your cruiser board today. Landyachtz uses the highest quality urethane to ensure these are the best cruiser wheels available on the market. Get a set and see the difference for yourself.
Sanded Wheel Wells: Wheel wells are sanded into the board to expand wheel size compatibility.
Bearings:
Spaceballs: Spaceballs are Landyachtz' answer to all of your bearing problems. Never again can you lose your washers, or spacers because we’ve built them into the inner race! On the functional side, this means your bearings are always mated correctly which negates any bearing-induced chatter.
