Lots of core fans freaked out when it was announced that the iconic STH2 16 was to be phased out and replaced with the Strive 16 MN, but the furor died down after a month or so when stars like Sage and Nick mounted them up and went skiing. The Atomic Strive 16 MN Ski Bindings are that good; using the same heel unit as the old STH2 with a new, lower profile toe that doesn't snag low lying vegetation, and still stomps the biggest lines with the reliability you've come to expect. Death of the STH2 = total non event.

Toe Piece:
LDN Toe: (Low, Direct, Neutral) Low center of gravity places the binding closer to the ski for better response and snow feel.

3-Part Metal Heel
Heel Flex Interface: Guarantees natural ski flex.
Freeski Brakes: Self-retracting brakes for a close position to the heel so they never catch.
Additional Features:
Low Profile Chassis: A low stand height improves your feel for the terrain and enhances power transmission to the ski.
Multi Norm (MN): Compatible with ISO 5355 Alpine, ISO 9523 Touring, WTR (Walk to Ride) and GripWalk Soles. Not compatible with non-ISO 9523 standard touring soles with shortened toe and heel lugs.
