WNDR Alpine Reason 120 Reverse Camber Skis 2024

When it comes to using unique, environmentally-friendly materials in ski construction, WNDR not only started at the ground floor, they built the ground floor. Their use of AlgalTech foam and PU in the cores, sidewalls and tails of the WNDR Alpine Reason 120 Reverse Camber Skis isn't the only reason they're phenomenal pow skis – they also happen to rip, and drop in with a lighter build for those interested in touring with a wider ski. You won't lack flotation on the Reason 120, even in 3 feet of Utah blower. The WNDR team is constantly checking to make sure...

Product Details

Rocker Type:
Rocker-Flat-Rocker: Fully rockered shape with no camber
Flex:
Progressive Flex: Stiffest in the middle of the ski, quite stiff in the tail for power and sticking airs, and gradually softer toward the tip
Core:
Algal Core: Vertically laminated core of bio-based Polyurethane foam and domestically sourced Aspen wood. Damper and lighter than pure wood cores, with a bio-based content of 41% by ASTM D6866-18 Method B.
Laminates:
90˚ Biaxial Fiberglass
45˚ Biaxial Fiberglass
SpiralMade™ Boot Plate: Made of ground up waste materials from the WNDR production process, keeping waste out landfills and strengthening the mounting area of the ski.
Super Sap® Resin: Bio-based Super Sap® technology replaces traditional petroleum based resin systems. We use Entropy Resins® to minimize the carbon footprint of our products. The certified bio-based content per ASTM D6866 of the ER-305 Resin is ~28%.
Sidewalls:
Algal Wall: Bio-based cast Polyurethane sidewalls that offer better damping than traditional, petroleum-based ABS. WNDR uses a channel in the outside of the core to further strengthen the bond between core and sidewall, and pours the sidewall into place rather than gluing and milling off excess material. Polyurethane bio-based carbon content 68% by ASTM D6866-18 Method B.
Base:
Black Sintered High Carbon UHMW Base: Treated with a penetrating biodegradable (no PFC's) all temperature application providing long lasting performance without toxic chemical impact.
Edges:
2.2mm Heat Treated Hardened Steel
Additional Features:
Skin Clip Attachment: Tail notch for secure skin fit
Love It or Return It: If you're not completely satisfied with your WNDR Alpine product, WNDR will take it back within 30 days of purchase. See here for full terms and conditions: https://wndr-alpine.com/pages/love-it-or-return-it

We recommend a brake width equal to or at most 15 mm wider than the ski waist width.
