The Marin Rift Zone 1 27.5 Complete Mountain Bike is a trail ready ripper that provides fantastic bang for your buck. It boasts the same frame and excellent ride quality as Marin's higher end offerings, with a component group chosen to keep costs down. A playful 27.5" setup keeps the focus firmly on fun, and the latest version sees an increase in suspension, with a plush 140mm fork leading the charge and 130mm of travel in the rear. If your riding runs the gamut from XC slogs to downhill chunder-fests, the Rift Zone 1 has everything you need and more.

Series 3 6061 Double Butted Aluminum Frame: From its advanced tube forms, threaded bottom bracket, and full internal cable routing, this frame leaves nothing to chance. It's made to exacting standards with today's best technology.
MultiTrac Suspension Technology: MultiTrac is an acclaimed suspension system, fine-tuned to have a balanced ride capable of absorbing big hits with an efficient pedaling platform. The rocker link provides a progressive leverage ratio for the rear shock for small bump sensitivity and the feeling of a long travel system on large drops and rocks.
X-Fusion O2 Pro R Shock: With a larger air canister for smooth ramp up, large and ergonomic knobs, and the racing know-how of racing legend Brian Lopes, the O2 Pro R is ready for anything. Smooth, consistent, and durable, this is an excellent trail shock.
Shock Adjustments: Air Spring Pressure | Rebound
Modern Trail Geometry: The slack head tube angle paired with a steep seat tube angle create a ride that will fly uphill with perfect front wheel precision but then descend like it’s on rails. The balanced rider position thanks to the steep seat tube puts your weight between the wheels for impressive climbing and handling on flats, while the slack front end and short rear center help to pull you through the rough descents and corners with an intuitive feel.
Internal Routing: Compatible with internally routed dropper posts, with internal rear derailleur routing for a clean look and snag free ride.
Universal Derailleur Hanger: Rift Zone Alloy models have enhanced chainstay and seat stay protectors for a quiet ride, and utilize SRAM's Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH) to help future-proof the frame.
