Carbon CC Frame: Santa Cruz's highest level of carbon fiber frame construction, CC carbon is not only extremely lightweight and strong, but it comes with a lifetime warranty. VPP® Suspension: VPP is based on the patented principle of having two short links rotating in opposite directions. This system provides huge design flexibility, allowing Santa Cruz to manipulate shock rates to the intended purpose and character of each model; from short travel endurance bikes to World Championship winning DH machines.
Rockshox Super Deluxe Ultimate Rear Shock: Designed for the latest hard-hitting enduro and trail bikes, Super Deluxe Ultimate features the ride-tuning abilities of an air spring with both compression and rebound adjustment to fine tune to any trail. With a solid threshold adjustment for pedaling performance and Maxima Plush fluid for a buttery smooth feel, riders can now easily dial in a podium-worthy ride.

Avid CenterLine Rotors: The new CenterLine Rotor was designed to keep the center of friction consistent throughout rotation thereby minimizing vibration offering consistent performance and a quiet ride.
Wheelset:
Mixed Wheel Sizing (S-XL Sizes): The mixed "mullet" wheel sizing of top level racers has trickled down to the rest of us: with a 29" wheel up front for maximum grip and rollover clearance, you'll have a smoother and more solid stance through rough stuff and turns. The smaller 27.5" rear wheel helps you initiate those turns, while keeping the rear end maneuverable and out of your shorts.
Santa Cruz Reserve 30 Carbon Rims with i9 1/1 Hubs: The EWS is strict—break certain parts and you DNF. The rule’s meant to encourage sensible management of equipment, but it’s also tipped the balance in favor of toughness and reliability. Enter the Reserve 30. Its 30mm internal width supports a 2.3-2.5” tire and the thick rim beads stand up to the abuse of tough, rocky, steep tracks ridden at elite speed. While DH rims see greater single impacts, nothing beats the full weekend of regular abuse that an EWS race dishes out. To say nothing of the infamous 'Anti-Grip' and the rocks buried within the moondust in the Andes of Chile.
Maxxis Minion DHF Front Tire: The Minion DHF was designed for the often loose and muddy conditions of aggressive all-mountain terrain. The DHF incorporates ramped knobs for low rolling resistance and channel-cut knobs to increase gripping edges, giving straight-line control and precise cornering.
