K2 Isolator Splitboard

The all new K2 Isolator Splitboard takes the Excavator and hacks it down the middle for backcountry duty. That's great news, because the Excavator is one of our favorite boards from the last few years. The Isolator matches the shape and profile - fat nose, slight swallowtail, smooth al dente flex pattern blending camber underfoot with rocker up front - and pairs it with a featherweight Paulownia Tour-Lite Core that keeps you moving and grooving on the skin track.

Directional Camber Profile: The most responsive camber profile in the line features camber running from in front of the front foot to the tail of the board with slight early rise in the nose. This gives the rider the most precision and control possible in any terrain while still floating effortlessly in the deep stuff.

Volume Shift™: Volume is moved from the tips and tails of traditional snowboard shapes and placed underfoot where it can be better controlled. Wax-Infused Sintered 4001 Base: Built using the hardest and fasted sintered base material on the market, the Wax-Infused Sintered 4001 Base holds wax longer than other sintered bases for smoother, longer lasting glide.
