Scott Genius ST 910 Complete Mountain Bike 2023

The ST in the Scott Genius ST 910 Complete Mountain Bike stands for "Super Trail," a designation that's spot-on. This latest version of Scott's go-everywhere bike is better than ever, with its unique internal rear shock placement (away from the elements and oh-so-pleasing to the eye), fantastic componentry, and a big Öhlins trail fork leading the way. This Genius is as capable as it is beautiful, with adjustable (on-the-fly) rear suspension and SRAM's excellent GX AXS wireless drivetrain. Whether you're on a lunchtime maintenance ride or the trail of your life in the Alps, this Genius ST is fast, strong, and tons of fun to ride.

Product Details

Frame/Shock:
Evo-Lap Carbon Technology: Thanks to this extensive computer modeling, Scott optimized the carbon layers in all the parts of the frame. When the parts were bonded together in the first prototypes, the result was a super light and compact frame without sacrificing the stiffness, comfort or impact resistance. This allows them to make the most efficient layup possible.
Genius Trail Geometry: Compared to the previous iteration, this one is slacker, has longer reach, shorter chainstays and a steeper seat angle. We really wanted geometry figures that would balance out the long front end for more stable descending. What they've ended up with is a bike that climbs like a bat out of hell and gets you down the mountain faster than you can say "dropping!"
Shock Adjustments: Air Spring Pressure / Compression / Rebound | Travel and Geo Adjust (150mm / 100mm / Climb Lockout)
SW Dropouts: These dropouts are designed to be integrated on the thru-axle system thanks to a hollow tubular design that allows a simple and lightweight structure. Available for SRAM and Shimano DM derailleurs, this dropout increases the stiffness and avoids damage to the frame in case of impacts on the rear derailleur.
TwinLoc Rear Suspension System: With TwinLoc, a rider can effectively control the complete frame, fork, and shock as a system. Why does this matter? A bike with 150mm of suspension travel, correctly set up, has more sag than a bike with 130mm. It's that extra travel that makes it more fun to ride and more capable on the descents, but the greater sag has an oversized effect on the bike's geometry and climbing performance. That's where TwinLoc matters. Via a handlebar remote, you can choose from three bikes in one!
Fox Float X Nude Rear Shock: This piggyback shock has a large custom air reservoir, designed in conjunction with Scott specifically for this bike. With three travel settings (150mm / 100mm / Lockout), this bike can shift shape to fit the terrain you're riding right now.
Genius Carbon Main Frame with Alloy Swingarm
Fork:
Öhlins RXF 36 m.2 Air: Built around the race-proven TTX18 cartridge, this light and super progressive fork is made for tough trails and enduro races. With a trail-optimized 18mm piston, this fork has ultra-sensitive tracking over small bumps and unrivaled traction control no matter how tough the trail gets. It has tons of tire clearance (29" x 2.8"), a super-stiff chassis, and enough tuning options for any rider.
Fork Adjustments: Air Spring Pressure / Low Speed Compression (15 Clicks) / Low Speed Rebound (15 Clicks) / High Speed Compression (3 Clicks plus Climb Lockout)
Drive Train:
SRAM GX Eagle AXS: With proven AXS wireless technology and the rugged durability of GX, it’s Eagle at its best. Featuring an expanded 520% range, seamless compatibility with the rest of the ecosystem, and the ability to customize with the AXS app, GX Eagle AXS™ is your entry point to the future.
Brakes:
Shimano XT M8120: Shimano's all-mountain workhorse, the four-piston XT brake set delivers manageable power in all conditions. Easy to set up, simple to bleed, and a joy to use, XT is always a great choice.
Shimano RT76 Rotors: 203mm Front / 180mm Rear
Wheelset:
Syncros Revelstoke 2.0: Designed for enduro and trail use, these rims are tough enough to handle all-day punishment without failing deep in the backcountry while staying lightweight enough to accelerate with the lunch ride crew. These aggressive alloy rims have a 30mm internal width and are laced to Syncros rims with DT Swiss star ratchet, 6-bolt rotor mounts, and a special axle that houses a 6mm Allen, T30, and T25 tool.
Maxxis Minion DHF Front Tire: With a tread design that deftly balances rolling speed with braking and cornering traction, it’s no wonder why the Minion DHF is one of the most imitated tires in mountain biking. Whether riding local trails, a backcountry epic, racing enduro or World Cup downhill, there’s a Minion DHF spec to meet your needs.
Maxxis Dissector Rear Tire: Designed in conjunction with Aussie DH racer Troy Brosnan, the Dissector seeks to minimize drag while retaining cornering control. This versatile tire can be used as a front, a pair, or as a rear depending on trail conditions.
Additional Features:
Syncros Hixon iC Carbon Bar / Stem Combo: Clean. With full cable routing, this bar / stem combo helps deliver the smoothest cockpit available today.
