Mod Tech: K2’s secondary elastometric is thickest at the center to insulate skiers from vibrations and thinned out towards the tip and tail to reduce weight and increase maneuverability.
Triaxial Braiding: Still the best way to apply fiberglass to a wood core – the interlocking strands of fiberglass wrap the wood core to give skis more torsional rigidity and strength while maintaining the natural feel of wood core flexibility.
