DC MLF Pro Ikka Backstrom Snowboard 2009: The DC MLF Pro Snowboard is backed by Ikka Backstrom, so you know it’s ready to rip on the mountain. The MLF which was developed primarily in the private park at the DC MTN. Lab by Iikka Backstrom and Devun Walsh, which makes the MTN. Lab Freestyle (MLF) a high-end true twin tip ideal for park and backcountry riding. Just for the MLF, DC brought back Radius to Flat Technology, which is a unique tip and tail profile, that’ll float you through the powder and help you stomp landings. A true twin tip, the MLF has DCs Aeron core, featuring two types of wood – poplar and obeche – is vertically laminated then finished super thin in the tip and tail for pop, power, and a low swing weight. Strips of Kevlar and Carbon run along the MLFs effective edges, adding even more pop, responsiveness, and vibration absorption. The MLF features 64.20 Bi-Ax laminate, a super durable and strong fiberglass that absorbs unwanted ch-ch-ch-chatter. The MLF has a 4400 Sintered base, which is both durable and easy to maintain.
