A short travel bike with big ambitions, the Evil Following LS GX Complete Mountain Bike is an XC bike from another planet. It's not super long or super slack, and as a collection of numbers on a geo chart it's completely inoffensive. But, as so many other things in life, the Following LS is more than the sum of its measurements: one ride on this rocket will leave you obsessed. It's amazingly agile, super poppy, and it absolutely rips everywhere. The "LT" upgrades to this bike make it a bit better at climbing, a bit better at descending, and a bit easier to maintain. Add it all up and that's huge: if you're into squeezing every bit of juice from every trail you ride, this bike should be on your list.

Frame/Shock:
DELTA System Suspension: The DELTA system was conceived to, among other things, achieve very complex leverage rate curves that can be used to tune for varying track conditions, spring, and damper parameters. The dual progressive leverage rate curve was developed for coil sprung downhill applications to take advantage of the speed sensitive shocks on the market. Mechanically, the system uses very compact links that can achieve a lot of angle and velocity change through the travel. Evil can tailor the leverage rate curve to really take advantage of the shock's valving and the way that a speed sensitive damper is designed to work. Ultimately the design achieves a high degree of suppleness early in the travel, with a very predictable high traction stage through the middle and a bottomless ramp at the end of the travel.
