The large bottom bracket junction on your Scott Contessa Spark 920 Complete Mountain Bike is confusing: if it's not an ebike, why's it so fast? This gorgeous machine houses its rear shock internally, in that aforementioned chamber, making its lines flow as well as it rides. This Spark is being ridden onto podiums by monsters of XC, and one day on it leaves little doubt as to why. Kitted out with great components and Scott's TwinLoc 2 adjustable geo system, this bike is able to be as poised on tech climbs as it is on all-out descents. And don't worry - that shock is easy to access for maintenance and adjustments.

Frame/Shock:
TwinLoc 2 Suspension System: With TwinLoc, a rider can effectively control the complete frame, fork, and shock as a system. Why does this matter? A bike with 150mm of suspension travel, correctly set up, has more sag than a bike with 130mm. It's that extra travel that makes it more fun to ride and more capable on the descents, but the greater sag has an oversized effect on the bike's geometry and climbing performance. That's where TwinLoc matters. Via a handlebar remote, you can choose from three bikes in one!

Adjustable Head Angle
Single Pivot Suspension Layout: The Spark’s suspension layout has a very specific and proven kinematic and less unsprung mass. Using a flex pivot in the seat stay is an ideal solution for bikes in this travel range. This allows Scott to keep a very lightweight system while still ensuring optimal suspension performance.
Integrated Rear Axle Tool: This clever tool features a T25, T30 and a 6 allen key all in one. With these three options you can adjust all pivot hardware and nearly everything else there is to adjust on the bicycle.
Easy Shock Access
Patented Integrated Suspension System: This integrated shock platform allows Scott to refine suspension characteristics without adding weight. This design eliminates lateral movements as the shock goes through its compression, making for a more efficient stroke.
DT Swiss Thru Axle: Working together with DT Swiss, Scott completely revisited the shape of the thru-axle lever to make it more ergonomic and to perfectly fit their frames.

RockShox Pike Select RL3 Air: Pike Select combines an updated DebonAir air spring with the Charger RC damper, perfect for any trail junket you have planned. With its buttery smooth feel off the top, this fork still maintains a higher ride height for increased confidence in steep terrain. Its Charger RC damper is a proven performer, too.
