In aluminum and decked out in smart components, this is a heavy duty trail bike for practical riders who prefer a 27.5" wheel. There are few trails on the planet that are too much for this bike, but it remains a great daily driver for areas that put an emphasis on descending. Wheelset:
Maxxis Assegai Front Tire: With tall knobs that punch through dust and loam to find traction, this tire offers support and confidence on wet roots and rocks. While other tires excel only in certain conditions, the new Maxxis Assegai is built to go fast everywhere.
Maxxis Minion DHR II Rear Tire: With side knobs borrowed from the legendary Minion DHF, but widened to provide more support, the DHR II corners like no other. The center tread features ramped leading edges to improve acceleration and sipes to create a smooth transition when leaning the bike. Paddle-like knobs on the center tread dig in under hard braking and help keep the bike under control.
WTB ST I30 TCS 2.0 Rims with Shimano Hubs: A hard-hitting wheelset, this was designed with enduro tracks in mind. Double wall aluminum rims, a very secure bead/tire connection, and light weight take the fear out of bashing through rock gardens.
Additional Features:
TranzX YS105 Dropper Post: Every Sight features a short seat tube for maximum standover clearance, allowing size-specific, long-travel dropper posts to get seats completely out of the way in the rough stuff.
