The Contour StartUp Set + Basic 95mm Climbing Skins will let your junior shredder tag along on the skintrack without having to purchase a specialized touring setup. The StartUp adapter fits into their regular binding and lets them stride with a normal, free-heel gait, then is removed for the downhill portion of the trip. The skins are trimmable 65% mohair / 35% nylon mix skins with Contour's proven hybrid glue.

Mohair: From the wool of Angora goats, mohair has a diameter of only .03 millimenters and is hollow inside, making it extremely light and supple even in the coldest temperatures. Produced in compliance with the Mohair Sustainable Guidelines (MSG).

Hybrid Glue System: Hybrid is the first ever twin layer adhesive technology for climbing skins. The upper layer sticks the skin firmly to the ski even at low temperatures. It is easy to remove and does not leave any residue on the ski base. The lower layer binds the upper layer of adhesive to the skin backing. The result is a unique combination of the best qualities of hot melt skins and ‘glueless’ skins.
