Frame/Shock:
Carbon CC Frame: Santa Cruz's highest grade CC-level carbon frame is every bit as stiff and strong as their C-level frame, but weighs about 280 grams less, due to the use of lighter, stronger, and more expensive carbon fiber. Santa Cruz is also able to truly integrate the shock mounts, pivot mounts, dropouts and disc brake tabs into the structure, using all uni-directional carbon plies. The shock mount isn't merely riveted or bonded on after curing, but is an integrated part of the fiber lay-up. This makes Santa Cruz's carbon frames incredibly strong and able to absorb impact better than any other frame they've tested.

At a genre blurring 1300g for a complete wheelset (with no rider weight limit and a market-defining lifetime warranty), the 28|XC features a new wider and lower rim profile to increase strength and lateral rigidity, while adding vertical compliance for enhanced traction. The new rim shape also eases tubeless tire installation and improves tire bead retention at lower pressure. The Reserve 28|XC is really the go-to wheelset for the modern XC bike: Sturdy and strong enough for a rowdy XC ride, but light and fast enough for a jaunt on the World Cup XC circuit.
Maxxis Aspen Tires: The new Maxxis Aspen pushes the limits of a lightweight XC tire designed to have minimal rolling resistance. The Aspen is designed with a high-volume casing to smooth out the roughest roots and rocks, while the multiple compounds give optimal traction in the corners. If crossing the finish line first is your top priority, then the Aspen was designed for you.
Industry Nine 1/1 Hubs: Confident and capable of cleaning the A-line yet budget friendly to save up for a season of bucket list rides, the 1/1 hub stays true to the performance heritage of Industry Nine. Featuring a dual phased-pawl drive mechanism accomplishing 90 POE and 4° engagement by way of a six pawl driver and 45 tooth drivering, 1/1 takes a no-nonsense approach in welcoming riders to Industry Nine.
