Yes. Optimistic Snowboard 2022

The Yes. Optimistic Snowboard is a rocketship built for white knuckle riding in any conditions. A favorite of wiggle riders and banked slalom veterans, the Optimistic is designed to be ridden a little shorter than your usual board. It pairs an aggressive sidecut with the pop and power of full camber, grippy UnderBite shaping, and a mid-fat waist for stability, float, and chunder smashing capability.

Rocker Type:
Camber: Camber is the base of snowboarding: you need to have enough edgehold to drive in and out of turns. The camber does exactly that, allowing you to drive your turns longer and release later.
Flex:
Flex Rating: 9 (1 Soft - 10 Stiff)
Shape:
UnderBite: UnderBite edges re-distribute a rider’s weight in such a way that it enhances turning ease and edge hold. Creating divots inward at the binding area reduces and disrupts the surface area of the edge that has contact with the snow while the board is turning. This segmentation of the sidecut into 3 key zones focuses your body weight onto areas that initiate, hold and release turns. UnderBite
Core:
Carbon PowerDrive 2.0: Starting with the Poplar/Paulownia/Bamboo core, Yes. mills two custom programmed channels about 30mm in from the edge, running parallel to and matching the sidecut dimensions. Inserted into these channels are pre-bent bamboo stringers wrapped in carbon. The end result is a highly responsive core that precisely matches and compliments the outline of each board. From intuitive turn initiation, solid edge hold and explosive release, the PowerDrive core is constantly active.
Laminates:
Triaxal Glass + Carbon
Base:
Sintered Spec: The raw material is pre-consumer recycled (meaning it never left the factory) sintered base material. The heating and extrusion process softens it slightly, but it's still much harder than true Extruded.
Binding Compatibility:
2 x 4 Insert Pack
