Norco Storm 1 Complete Mountain Bike 2022

Up your gravel game and take the mountain trails by storm. The Norco Storm 1 Complete Mountain Bike is an efficient hardtail that adds a bit of rugged versatility to a hybrid design. This bike has the wide tires, hydraulic disc brakes, front suspension, and dropper seat post you'd expect from a trail bike, plus a powerful pedaling platform that allows for it to serve double duty on the roads as well. Commute the city in style, or slog out cross-country miles on gravel roads and smooth trails.

Product Details

Frame/Shock:
Lightweight Aluminum Frame: The premium X6 double-butted aluminum 6061 alloy frame features size-scaled tubing to maintain the same ride quality across all frame sizes. Thoughtful design details such as internal cable routing and smooth welding allow for clean lines and a quiet, rattle-free ride.
Progressive Design: The Storm uses  Norco's holistic approach to fit and geometry to achieve its nimble, confident trail performance. The unique combination of longer reach, slacker head tube angle and steep seat tube angle provides a more forward weight distribution within a longer wheelbase. This allows more powerful, efficient pedaling, increased climbing traction and added grip and control when descending to help make the most of every ride.
Fork:
Suntour XCM HLO DS: Entry level MTB fork with 30mm stanchions and a speed lockout that can be used on-the-fly for climbing or city riding.
Fork Adjustments: Adjustable preload, Hydraulic speed lockout.
Drive Train:
Shimano Deore 1x11: A capable, efficient, and confidence-inspiring drivetrain. Wide enough gear ratio and good gear step optimized for everything from steep climbs to fast decents. Smooth shifting of front and rear in rhythm in order to maintain speed and acceleration in change of terrain. Less loss of pedaling power by rigid structure with easy and effortless shifting operation. Improved stability and chain retention of drivetrain in rough terrain.
Brakes:
Tektro HD-M275 Hydraulic Disc Brakes: An open system, dual piston disc brake system. 160mm rotor in the rear, 180mm in the front.
Wheelset:
Maxxis Rekon Tires: The Rekon is an aggressive trail tire inspired by the Ikon for intermediate and technical terrain. Wide knobs down the middle provide control under braking and L-shaped side knobs assure support when carving loose turns. With confidence like this you can race more and scout less with the Rekon.
Additional Features:
TranzX YSP18 Dropper Post
