Ride Aligned™: To customize your Ride Aligned™ experience, every aspect of the system ties together with the app-based Ride Aligned™ Bike Setup Guide.
Fox Performance Elite DPX2: Combining the best of X2 and DPS, the DPX2 features a recirculating oil damper design with the convenience of three on-the-fly compression damping positions. The Optic’s suspension was designed around very specific shock performance, with spring and damper characteristics, so Norco sourced customized rear shocks with the precise spring and damping curves they were looking for.
Shock Adjustments: Lever Actuated Open, Medium, Firm Modes, Open Mode Adjust Tuning Range (10 Clicks), Rebound, Air Spring Pressure
High Speed Design: By relaxing the Optic's head angle for stability, Norco fine-tuned the handling with reduced-offset forks and short 45mm stems – providing even more high-speed precision and predictability for more aggressive trail riding.
Fork:
Fox 36 Float Performance Elite: Performance Elite forks retain the same adjustments, dampers, weight, and 7000 series aluminum upper tubes as Factory Series, but have black anodized upper tubes instead of Genuine Kashima Coat. In other words, this fork is as good as it gets!
Fork Adjustments: FIT GRIP2 Independently Adjustable High- and Low- Speed Compression and High- and Low- Speed Rebound
Drive Train:
Shimano XT: Shimano XT is the original mountain bike groupset trusted by generations of mountain bikers around the world. Whatever the trail, whatever you ride, XT is your solution for mountain biking today. Reliable shifting. Superior braking. Intuitive maintenance. XT is the high-performance workhorse you can count on.
Brakes:
Shimano XT BR-M8020 Hydraulic Disc Brakes: The 4-piston Shimano XT hydraulic disc brake ups the stopping power by 10% over the M8000, 2-piston version making it perfect for aggressive trail riding.
Wheelset:
Vittoria Mazza Front Tire: Starting with a defined center tread, the Mazza tyre for Enduro mountain bike uses deep siping in the direction of rotation, allowing the tire to roll fast while still opposing drift, especially in off-camber terrain. The stepped leading edge rolls like a ramp, but digs in on climbs, making Mazza a top choice for both front and rear use. Substantial room was designed into the center tread to provide braking traction, while also accelerating cleaning.
Vittoria Martello Rear Tire: The Vittoria All-Mountain Enduro Tire covers aggressive treads and strengthened constructions to prepare the rider for the huge demands of jumps, drops and various tire-threatening obstacles typical of Enduro and Downhill trails. This is where the Martello tire is rooted.
