An ENVE AM30 29" Rim is a carbon angel halo, possessing supernatural power and a cloud-like ride. ENVE's layup process is immensely strong, with molded spoke holes and an asymmetrical profile that puts the fear of square-edged rocks (and dented aluminum) in the rearview mirror.

Balanced All-Mountain Ride Tune: With a unique shape and ride-tune, the AM30 balances compliance and vibration damping for all-day comfort, while retaining quick cornering, acceleration, and gravity-rated strength. Offset spoke holes balance spoke tensions to help preserve the wheels’ quickness and the spoke’s integrity – despite the rim’s additional compliance.
Asymmetric Spoke Holes: This creates more balanced spoke tensions.
Molded Spoke Holes: Instead of drilling through fibers, ENVE creates spoke holes by molding carbon. This makes for a stronger rim.
Pinch-Flat Protected: Wide hookless beads dissipate impact energy, preventing the rim from slicing your tire. This means you can pick the tires, casings, and pressures you want to run, instead of letting the fear of flats dictate your decisions.
External Nipples: This allows for on-the-fly truing.
