The Giro Helios Spherical MIPS Bike Helmet is a low-profile helmet designed specifically for gravel riding. Much in the same way that gravel bikes blend features from road and mountain bikes, the Helios helmet combines the sleek looks of classic road helmets with the burly design of trail helmets. This non-visored design has dual-density foam to manage high and low speed impacts, and comes equipped with the MIPS Spherical system to mitigate angled blows.

Fit:
Roc Loc® 5 Air Fit System: Using a patented design that suspends the helmet just slightly off the top of the skull, this system allows cool airflow directly over your head, enhancing the venting of heat out of the helmet. Fit and feel adjustments mimic the Roc Loc 5, allowing you to easily custom tune fit tension and fore-aft tilt of the helmet in seconds, using a single hand.

Wind Tunnel™ Ventilation: Giro helmets are developed utilizing the proprietary Wind Tunnel™ ventilation system, which combines active vents with internal exhaust channels that thrust cool, fresh air over and around the riders head-while forcing heat and stale air out. MIPS® Spherical: MIPS® Spherical is a pair of foam layers that work like a ball and socket to redirect impact energy in a crash. The system uses two distinct layers of foam within the helmet, rather than a single layer of foam and plastic liner. One layer is EPS, which is well suited to high-speed crashes. The other is a lower density EPP foam with rebound characteristics that offer protection in low speed impacts.
IONIC+ Padding: Pure silver is the ingredient that gives IONIC+ the power to provide natural, permanent odor protection to help keep your helmet feeling fresh.
