Marin San Quentin 1 Complete Mountain Bike 2022

The Marin San Quentin 1 Complete Mountain Bike might be a hardtail, but it's a long ways from the rigid frame mountain bike you remember riding around the block at your grandma's house. This thing is shaped with mean trail geometry inspired by Marin's top of the line dirt jumpers. It pedals like a dream and crushes downhill, and comes with a very reasonable price tag to boot. Get it in the air, thrash it down the singletrack, pedal back to town. Easy money.

Product Details

Frame/Shock:
Series 2 Aluminum Hardtail Frame: Made from 6061 butted and hydroformed aluminum, this frame is light and durable.
Dirt Jump Inspired Frame Style: Taking cues from the Alcatraz, the San Quentin line up provides all the benefits of the DJ style with massive stand over, slick frame tubes, and a sexy paint job.
Modern Trail Geometry: The slack head tube angle paired with a steep seat tube angle create a ride that will fly uphill with perfect front wheel precision but then descend like it’s on rails. The balanced rider position thanks to the steep seat tube puts your weight between the wheels for impressive climbing and handling on flats, while the slack front end and short rear center help to pull you through the rough descents and corners with an intuitive feel.
IS Brake Mounts
3D Forged Drop Outs
Semi-internal Cable Routing
Fork:
SR Suntour XCM32 Boost: The 32mm chassis is robust enough to handle XC/Trail riding and it utilizes Suntour's proven design that requires minimal maintenance. Now in Boost format for those looking for bigger tires, more grip and a stouter chassis for handling performance.
Fork Adjustments: Rebound / Preload / Hydraulic Lockout
Drive Train:
MicroShift Advent 1x9 Drivetrain: Advent is the drivetrain that punches above its weight. Need a wide, modern gear range? Need a chain stabilizing clutch for a 1x or 2x chainring setup? ADVENT delivers on all of that. It also pairs with the responsive, ergonomic shifters that microSHIFT is known for.
Brakes:
Tektro Hydraulic Disc Brakes: These dual piston brakes provide excellent stopping power for everyday trail use.
Rotors: 180mm Front / 160mm Rear
Wheelset:
Vee Tire Flow Snap Tires: A universal, do it all tread design that checks every box on your want list for an all-mountain tire. It rolls fast, corners with more confidence than you’d ever believe and when you need it most offers exceptional braking grip to keep you on the trail and back up to speed exiting the corners. It’s subtle damping qualities absorb hits and keep the tire glued to the ground over the roughest of trails. In all conditions, from your local shreds to bikepacking, enduro racing and even full-on downhilling the Flow Snap has you covered.
