Scott Spark 920 Complete Mountain Bike 2021

The Scott Spark 920 Complete Mountain Bike is kitted out beautifully. Built with a carbon frame and an aluminum swingarm, this bike pays attention to the things that matter and eschews unnecessary extravagance. GX and SLX components are known to perform just like their shinier cousins, but save a buck or two for you to grab a bite to eat on the way home. With this philosophy, Scott has made a podium contender for a ballers on a budget.

Product Details

Frame/Shock:
Spark 3 Carbon Frame with Aluminum Alloy Swingarm
Evo-Lap Carbon Technology: Thanks to this extensive computer modeling, Scott optimized the carbon layers in all the parts of the frame. When the parts were bonded together in the first prototypes, the result was a super light and compact frame without sacrificing the stiffness, comfort or impact resistance. This allows them to make the most efficient layup possible.
TwinLoc Suspension System: With TwinLoc, a rider can effectively control the complete frame, fork, and shock as a system. Why does this matter? A bike with 150mm of suspension travel, correctly set up, has more sag than a bike with 130mm. It's that extra travel that makes it more fun to ride and more capable on the descents, but the greater sag has an oversized effect on the bike's geometry and climbing performance. That's where TwinLoc matters. Via a handlebar remote, you can choose from three bikes in one!
Fox Nude EVOL Rear Shock: Designed in conjunction with Scott, this shock has three modes that are controlled by the handlebar-mounted remote. Adjust your travel and geometry in an instant, depending on how the trail ahead looks.
Shock Adjustments: Air Spring Pressure / Open, Pedal, Lock Compression Modes / Rebound
Shock Adjustments: Air Spring Pressure, Lockout, Traction and Descend Modes (Linear to Progressive Custom Ramp Adjust in Descend Mode), Rebound Adjust
DT Swiss Thru Axle: Working together with DT Swiss, Scott completely revisited the shape of the thru-axle lever to make it more ergonomic and to perfectly fit their frames.
SW Dropouts: These dropouts are designed to be integrated on the thru-axle system thanks to a hollow tubular design that allows a simple and lightweight structure. Available for SRAM and Shimano DM derailleurs, this dropout increases the stiffness and avoids damage to the frame in case of impacts on the rear derailleur.
Fork:
Fox SC 34 Float Performance: Designed for aggressive trail and all-mountain riding, this fork is lightweight and trail-proven. The Float EVOL air spring and FIT Grip damper are known for their plush feel and adjustability, making this fork a perfect match for advanced riders looking for high performance.
Fork Adjustments: Air Spring Pressure | 3-Position Compression Settings via TwinLoc remote
Drive Train:
SRAM GX Eagle: GX Eagle is your partner for all rides, all the time, all day. Long days, quick rides and everything in-between, GX Eagle is the ecosystem at its best. With the all new 520% range, all new colourways and seamless compatibility with the rest of the ecosystem, GX Eagle is there to maximize the potential of your ride experience.
Brakes:
Shimano SLX M7100 2-Piston: Shimano SLX brakes bring a feature set that's previously been reserved for the highest-end lines. With adjustable levers that have been updated and stiffened, these are ideal for XC racing and trail riding.
Shimano RT66 Rotors | 180mm
Wheelset:
Syncros Silverton 2.5 | 25mm | 28H | Tubeless Ready
Maxxis Rekon Tires: The Rekon is an aggressive trail tire inspired by the Ikon for intermediate and technical terrain. Wide knobs down the middle provide control under braking and L-shaped side knobs assure support when carving loose turns. With confidence like this you can race more and scout less with the Rekon.

Syncros Duncan Dropper 2.0 Seatpost
