Scott Contessa Genius 920 Complete Mountain Bike - Women's 2021

The Scott Contessa Genius 920 Complete Mountain Bike is always the right bike for the ride. With its TwinLoc remote lever mounted on the handlebars, you can control not only your suspension settings, but your bike's available travel, too. What this means is super efficient climbs with the suspension locked out, and plush descending when you've set the suspension to fully open. It's like having an invisible bike quiver with you at all times!

Product Details

Frame/Shock:
Genius Alloy SL 6011 Frame
TwinLoc Suspension System: With TwinLoc, a rider can effectively control the complete frame, fork, and shock as a system. Why does this matter? A bike with 150mm of suspension travel, correctly set up, has more sag than a bike with 130mm. It's that extra travel that makes it more fun to ride and more capable on the descents, but the greater sag has an oversized effect on the bike's geometry and climbing performance. That's where TwinLoc matters. Via a handlebar remote, you can choose from three bikes in one!
X-Fusion NUDE Rear Shock: With new seal designs and materials chosen to optimize performance and increase durability, this shock is known for excellent small-bump sensitivity and overall efficiency.
Shock Adjustments: Air Spring Pressure, Lockout, Traction and Descend Modes (Linear to Progressive Custom Ramp Adjust in Descend Mode), Rebound Adjust
Genius Trail Geometry: Compared to the previous iteration, this one is slacker, has longer reach, shorter chainstays and a steeper seat angle. We really wanted geometry figures that would balance out the long front end for more stable descending. What they've ended up with is a bike that climbs like a bat out of hell and gets you down the mountain faster than you can say "dropping!"
DT Swiss Thru Axle: Working together with DT Swiss, Scott completely revisited the shape of the thru-axle lever to make it more ergonomic and to perfectly fit their frames.
ICCR Cable Routing: Routing the cables internally omits bulky external hardware and looks cleaner. The cables can endure a longer lifetime as they are protected within the frame. The entry points are machined alloy removable inserts that come along with the frame and can be chosen according to the setup of the bike. Assembling an electronic group or a dropper post will not be a problem and the look will always be clean-cut.
Fork:
Marzocchi Z2: Featuring a new from-the-ground-up Rail damper, the Z2 combines low maintenance with intuitive ease of use and impressive on-trail performance. The top-of-fork simple sweep adjuster from firm to open can lock out the fork or fully open the system with plenty of positions in between. The Z2 - it just makes everything easy.
Fork Adjustments: Air Spring Pressure / Lockout - Traction Control - Descend (via Remote) / Rebound
Drive Train:
SRAM Eagle 12-Speed: A solid mix of SRAM NX and SX Eagle 12 speed components make up this drivetrain, giving you a combo of low weight, high gear range, and great performance.
Brakes:
Shimano Disc Brakes: Controllable stopping power, all in a lightweight 2-piston trail brake. These feature Shimano's famous reliability and ease of setup.
Shimano RT30 Rotors | 203mm F / 180mm R
Wheelset:
Syncros X-30S | 30mm | Tubeless Ready | 32H
Maxxis Dissector Front Tire: Designed in conjunction with Aussie DH racer Troy Brosnan, the Dissector seeks to minimize drag while retaining cornering control.
Maxxis Rekon Rear Tire: Wide knobs down the middle provide control under braking and L-shaped side knobs assure support when carving loose turns. With confidence like this you can race more and scout less with the Rekon.
Additional Features:
Syncros Duncan Dropper Post
