Santa Cruz Bicycles Bronson C S Complete Mountain Bike 2021

The Santa Cruz Bicycles Bronson C S Complete Mountain Bike is a sick whip for downhill rippers everywhere. Thanks to Santa Cruz's excellent VPP Suspension system and a steeper seat tube angle, the Bronson climbs better than any 150mm travel ride has a right too. But obviously, the downhill is where it shines. It absolutely eats up anything in its path, and keeps you feeling glued to the ground in the tightest of corners. Tons of traction, almost impossible to bottom out, and still lightweight and maneuverable, the Bronson is the bike you've been looking for.

Product Details

Frame/Shock:
Frame Update 3.0: This iteration of the Bronson features a revised VPP® suspension with a new lower-link mounted shock. This yields a smoother pedaling platform, greater bottom out resistance, and a supportive mid-stroke. Add to this a mildly slacker head angle, slightly steeper seat angle and a longer reach to make the Bronson more versatile than ever.
Carbon C Frame: A minimal weight gain of approximately 250 - 280 grams (0.6 lbs) for the C frame over the CC due to the different grade of carbon used. Whether you're riding a carbon CC or C frame, you get exactly the same legendary strength and stiffness because Santa Cruz uses exactly the same manufacturing facility and techniques.
Lower-Link Mounted VPP® Suspension: VPP is based on the patented principle of having two short links rotating in opposite directions. This system provides huge design flexibility, allowing Santa Cruz to manipulate shock rates to the intended purpose and character of each model; from short travel endurance bikes to World Championship winning DH machines. This redesign mounts the shock lower on the bike, making for an even better ride quality.
RockShox Super Deluxe Select+ Rear Shock: Super Deluxe Select+ is built for the latest breed of hard hitting enduro and trail bikes. Offering the ride control you need paired with a user-friendly threshold adjustment all rolled into a great high performance-to-value package. They even threw in Maxima Plush fluid to reduce friction and silence noise.
Shock Adjustments: Separate and Independent Open / Threshold Positions, Air Spring Pressure, External Rebound
Bottle Cage Mount: Within the front triangle, fits piggyback shocks.
27.5 / 27.5+ Wheel Clearances: Clearance for up to 2.8-inch tires.
Single Grease Port on Lower Link for Swift and Easy Maintenance
Integrated Flip Chip for High/Low Setting Adjustment
Molded Rubber Swingarm and Downtube Protection
ISCG-05 Tabs for Chainguide Compatibility
Internal Brake and Dropper Cable Routing
148mm Rear Axle Spacing
Threaded Bottom Bracket
Integrated Headset
Fork:
Fox 36 Float Performance: Performance forks retain the same black anodized 7000 series aluminum upper tubes as Performance Elite, but have a different damper (FIT GRIP) with fewer adjustments.
Fork Adjustments: FIT GRIP 3-Position Lever (Open, Medium, Firm), Air Spring Pressure, External Rebound
Drive Train:
SRAM GX Eagle™: SRAM Eagle™ drivetrains are the only 1x drivetrains that are fully system engineered for optimal performance. Eagle™ drivetrains are designed, tested and proven to deliver the lightest, highest-performing, most durable systems for all riders on any trail. Eagle™ technology provides an expanded, optimum, gear range that allows you to realize your bike's potential beyond where it has ever been. Every SRAM GX Eagle™ component is 100% compatible with all levels of SRAM Eagle™ drivetrain systems.
Brakes:
SRAM Code R Brakeset: Sleek, easy to use, yet immensely powerful. Code R packs a winning punch with a reliable DirectLink™ lever mated to Code’s new oversized four-piston caliper. SRAM’s signature ergonomics are supplemented by the tool-free reach adjust for a fit to each riders’ needs, to unleash Code’s superior braking power, consistency and modulation.
Avid CenterLine Rotors: The new CenterLine Rotor was designed to keep the center of friction consistent throughout rotation thereby minimizing vibration offering consistent performance and a quiet ride.
Wheelset:
Race Face AR Offset 30 27.5" Rims Laced to DT Swiss 370 Hubs: Tough hubs connected to light and burly aluminum rims--this is a trail-ripping setup that's ready to absorb all the trail action you see. With great feel and even better durability, these wheels won't disappoint.
Maxxis Minion DHF Front Tire: The Minion DHF was designed for the often loose and muddy conditions of aggressive all-mountain terrain. The DHF incorporates ramped knobs for low rolling resistance and channel-cut knobs to increase gripping edges, giving straight-line control and precise cornering.
Maxxis Minion DHR II Rear Tire: A real rider's tire choice, these Minions bring a mix of rolling resistance, wear, and performance that can't be beat.
Additional Features:
RockShox Reverb Stealth Dropper Seatpost: Don’t let its familiar good looks fool you—Reverb is a whole new weapon. Its internals have been completely re-engineered to improve on its already legendary performance and to offer enhanced reliability: all the smallest details, down to the single seal, have been re-evaluated and updated to pass the hardest and longest durability tests. Additional bushing overlap also improves performance over time. This is the brand-new Reverb, engineered for the next-generation mountain biker.
