GNU B Pro BTX Snowboard - Women's 2009

GNU B Pro BTX Snowboard - Women's 2009: This isn’t just a board – it’s a work of love and labor. The Gnu B –Pro BTX Snowboard is a pro model Barrett Christy has been fine tuning for over a decade winning Banked Slalom’s, X Game medals and riding epic snow all over the world. She has been working with Gnu designers, fine tuning flexes, sidecuts, widths, shapes and more. In addition to having a board with the new Magne-Traction (MTX) shape, Barrett has taken the next step forward adding Banana Technology to her line as well. Banana Traction (BTX) allows the board to excel in all snow conditions, terrain and opens doors to new levels of freestyle progression. To top it off, the 2009 Gnu B-Pro BXT graphics are sick, flowing with Hannah Stouffer’s art, bamboo, and an eco-snakeskin textured topsheet material.

Other Features:
Bio Plastic Top Sheet made from beans
Directional Twin Shape with Banana-Traction (BTX): Banana Technology and Magne-traction combined – Banana is revolutionary snowboard geometry (licensed from Lib Tech) featuring a “banana” rocker between your feet and flat to the tip and tails. The middle of your board is brought to life and the ends become more catch free to float or climb through tight transitions. Magne-traction gives you better control and edge hold with multiple points of contact on your edge. Slice through any snow condition, think of Magne-traction as a serrated knife blade cutting through the snow.
Sandwich EISS 9 construction with UHMW (Ultra High Molecular Weight) sidewalls, Sintered 9900 base
Mervin AG2 Core: A perfect combination of Aspen and EISS 9 layered endgrain Birch.
Boarding for Breast Cancer: Barrett donates a portion of her royalties to B4BC. B4BC is a non-profit, youth focused, education, awareness, and fundraising organization. Their mission is to increase awareness about breast cancer, the importance of early detection and the value of a healthy lifestyle.
