With a name like that, you probably think you know what you're getting into with the Bataleon The Carver Snowboard. But you're not quite right. This isn't just some niche board for hardboot maniacs who want to touch their forehead to the groomer on every toe side turn, although those guys will definitely love it. By utilizing their signature Triple Base Technology, Balateon has managed to create an insanely fast hardpack ripper with a wider waist and smooth edge to edge transitions that's a ton of fun in powder and big mountain terrain as well. But man can it lay down a mean carve.

SideKick™ Tips enhance 3BT’s advantages like nothing you experienced before by dramatically increasing the sidebase uplift at the widest points of the nose and tail. This makes turn initiation even smoother, increases float in powder and handling of the board in rough terrain.

Light Woodcore: A 50 / 50 blend of Swiss paulownia and poplar woods for optimal strength to weight properties.
Dual Radial Super Tubes: Dual Radial Super Tube woodcore upgrade features six hollow carbon tubes that are inserted into the core parallel to the board radius for extra power transfer to the edge.
Laminates:
Triax Laminate: A three-way weave of fiberglass is light, strong and responsive. This is used to beef up the flex pattern.
Carbon Stringers: Carbon is feather light and adds explosive pop, precise edge control, reactive response and smooth dampening to a board. Bataleon uses this to beef up the flex pattern.
