Scott Stevens has never been known to contain his riding to convention, common sense, or the mountains. Unsurprisingly, his pro model is no different. Other than the traditional radial sidecut and twin shape, the CAPiTA Scott Stevens Pro Snowboard is all kinds of wacky, creative, and out of the box. It uses an innovative cork inlaid base for dampening and durability while staying crazy light, in addition to four Kevlar / flax stringers that turn the already ridiculously poppy board from years past into a maniac jib everything pogo stick of a snowboard. This board outputs a ton of energy and lives to innovate new freestyle tricks in the park and on the streets.

Core:
Cork Inlaid Pro Core™ 2.0: The CORK INLAID PRO CORE™ 2.0 was explicitly engineered to compliment Scott’s unique riding style. Version 2.0 features a modified cork placement for more snap and ollie power while allowing an extreme mix of dampening and durability required for spontaneous and creative riding. Comprised of a balanced blend of Poplar and Paulownia wood, with cork recessed into 25% of the top of the core, the CORK INLAID PRO CORE™ 2.0 is the damp and durable wood core custom made to meet the needs of Sleepy Stevens himself.
Laminates:
Technora™ + Flax Boosters: With an excellent tensile strength and fatigue resistance, Technora™ is an aramid fiber that functions as a shock absorber and energy source when integrated into a snowboard construction layup. CAPiTA has interwoven Technora™ with an extremely lightweight and all-natural Flax fiber to invigorate every construction combination with maximum turning and ollie power.
Holysheet™ Fiberglass: The HOLYSHEET™ fiberglass configuration features fiber weaves with a high tensile strength and low modulus of elasticity. With a higher roving count in the same weight of glass, you can have a stronger and more responsive board without adding extra weight. It features Triaxial fiberglass on top of the core and Biaxial fiberglass beneath, creating a perfectly blended ride while increasing strength and durability.
Magic Bean Resin: This advanced resin system has a bio-content of 60% renewable, agricultural raw material and is produced with no waste or greenhouse emissions. In production, it has a low-temperature requirement with a high yield output. Poppy, powerful, and extremely durable, MAGIC BEAN™ resin yields much stronger and more rigid qualities allowing a decrease in the wood core thickness. This means you get a lighter board while achieving higher energy return.
Sidewalls:
1.5 mm Cork Edge Dampening System: Damp, durable, and lighter than rubber, the CORK EDGE DAMPENING SYSTEM is placed in between the steel edge and the ABS sidewall for increased protection from blunt force impacts.
Base:
Quantum Drive™ Base: The QUANTUM DRIVE™ running base is formulated with a progressive blend of compressed ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene. As an evolution from the already blazing fast ULTRADRIVE™, this running base features higher density for durability and absorbs more wax to wick longer and ride faster. Properly maintained sintered bases are fast, durable, and are the preferred choice of many high-end enthusiasts worldwide.
