For a few years now, Burton has been making the AK Guide collection for the Japanese market, with help from legendary backcountry guides Masanori Takeuchi and Hiroshi Fujiwara. Now they are releasing the line to the international community. The Burton AK 3L GORE-TEX Pro Japan Guide Jacket has a professional pedigree to help keep you dialed in the deepest powder and on the most hardcore expeditions. The GORE-TEX Pro fabric is world-class in terms of both waterproofing and breathability, and the jacket is designed for lightweight minimalism. With spots to stash your radio and easy access pockets for gear, the Guide Pro jacket is a purpose-driven shell that provides everything you need in a backcountry jacket and nothing else. Note: the AK Guide collection features a Japan inspired fit, and should be sized up one size for standard AK sizing.
