The Giant Fathom 1 Complete Mountain Bike is a hardtail bike with enduro aspirations. The more trail oriented geometry, 27.5 wheels, and a more relaxed head angle make this a nice in-betweener or entry level bike for those primarily riding cross-country but thinking of stepping up to steeper and more technical terrain.

ALUXX SL Aluminum Construction: Extremely lightweight framesets featuring high-performance strength-to-weight ratios, predominantly featuring 6011 alloy. OverDrive: Giant’s original oversized fork steerer tube technology. Designed to provide precise front-end steering performance, the system’s oversized headset bearings (1 1/4” lower and 1 1/8” upper for road, 1 1/2” lower and 1 1/8” upper for mountain) and tapered steerer tube work in conjunction to provide optimal steering stiffness.
Fork:
Suntour Raidon XC LO-R: A solid XC workhorse, the Raidon is a durable high performance driven fork ready to tackle trails for multiple seasons with minimal maintenance. Sealed cartridge design with lockout and and external rebound adjuster. The air spring design allows for riders to set their preferred pressure to make the fork feel how they want. Light weight 32mm stanchion tubes and chassis make for a good handling and stiff XC fork.

With its medium-height tread, the Ardent Race bridges the gap between the XC-oriented Ikon and the trail-oriented Ardent. The center knobs are ramped to reduce rolling resistance, and the side knobs are angled and stepped to provide great biting traction in corners.
