The Giant Stance 29 2 Complete Mountain Bike seeks out singletrack like a 29" moth to a flame (a fast and agile moth, not the kind that just bumps into lightbulbs all night long). It's a 29er trail bike built around FlexPoint rear suspension, a design that uses the natural springiness of the seat- and chainstay junction to give you a firm pedaling platform with 120mm of travel. This has the effect of putting you "in" the trail, and makes for a responsive bike that will surprise you with its speed.

Frame/Shock:
ALUXX Aluminum: This Performance level frame material features 6061 alloy with single-butted tubes to produce strong, lightweight framesets for a variety of different bikes and riding styles.
FlexPoint Rear Suspension: This proven "single pivot" design uses the flexing action of the chainstay/seatstay junction to produce a lightweight and durable suspension system with 120mm (4.7") of rear travel.
Suntour Raidon R Shock: Uncomplicated and lightweight, the Raidon R is a great shock for XC and trail riding.
Shock Adjustments: Air Spring Pressure / External Low Speed Rebound Adjust
Fork:
Suntour Raidon 34: With magnesium lowers and 34mm stanchions, the Raidon 34 is a cross-country fork that'll smooth out terrain without being overly hefty. Its Q-LOC² quick release axle is truly deserving of the name "quick."

Maxxis Forekaster 2 Tires: Mid-height tread blocks are spaced evenly to allow penetration through loose trail conditions and openly for better mud-clearing compared to other race tires. Wide cupped knobs down the middle provide excellent braking on the sloppiest singletrack.
