The Salomon Super 8 Splitboard is a freeride ripper for the rider who wants a little extra float in their powder runs. A slightly setback stance shifts the riding position rearward for better nose lift when riding through heavy snow and is a welcomed asset when you're in for a serious climb. C/FX Basalt reinforcement aids in rigidity and response for outstanding edge control at high speeds, while a premium sintered base with a fine stone finish helps to make your speed dreams a reality. This premium splitty was designed in collaboration with North Drinkware and celebrates Josh Dirksen’s home, Mt. Bachelor and comes with quality custom cut Pomoca skins in a very limited edition run.

Rocker Type:
Backseat Camber: Camber under your back foot and a flat section at the nose, coupled with rocker at the tip and tail lends you maximum control for carving on groomers and a surf-like feel in powder. Backseat Camber

Sidewalls:
ABS Sidewalls: Salomon's Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene is a mouthful, so Salomon calls it ABS, the best material for sidewalls. The molecular structure can be described as a concrete bar with rubber nuggets inside, combining toughness for energy transfer and dampening properties for impact absorption.
Base:
Fine Stone Finish: Speed up in powder or softer snow conditions.
Sintered: Engineered for super fast glide in everything from fresh pow to sticky spring snow. Sintered material provides superior wax retention, Gallium strengthens impact resistance, and the Electra finish gives a turbocharged glide.
Edges:
All Mountain Edge Bevel: A 1° edge holding tune throughout the key parts of the sidecut meets a 2° bevel between the feet. This delivers the most solid edge hold with no hang-ups.
