AR Nose Rocker: A traditional sidecut is paired with tip rocker and standard camber for easier turn initiation without compromising edge hold.

Poplar Core: Stability, power and ease are paramount in this 100% Poplar wood core. For those looking for predictability and smoothness the Poplar core delivers in all snow conditions.

Laminates:

Intelligrid: Carbon fiber combined with an Innegra mesh works to dampen vibrations while providing additional stiffness and response to the ski for quicker feel edge to edge and a more stable platform. Innegra, a high density polypropylene, filters the bumps and vibrations that tire your legs and knock you from your turn shape and heightens the riders experience for a more effortless day on the slopes. Carbon fiber acts to add response and snap to every turn.

Titanal: This blend of zinc aluminum acts as a shock absorber inside the ski, quieting bumps and chatter for unparalleled stability and confidence at all speeds. When a little extra weight is acceptable, Armada applies 2 full length, full width sheets of Titanal.

Sidewalls:

AR50 Sidewalls: Cap construction in the tip and tail and sidewall underfoot, balancing performance characteristics with lower swing-weight and increased durability.

Base:

Comp Series Base: Sintered UHMW polyethylene with added carbon aids in speed and durability on snow.

Edges:

2.2 Impact Edge: Heat treated and built to avoid excess weight while maintaining durability, this edges gives the best balance of durability and feel of the whole Armada collection.
