The bindings that put Spark R&D on the map are back. Spark R&D Blaze TR Splitboard Bindings are an economical and straightforward choice for touring deep into the backcountry. Bombproof and simple, these bindings will be setting skin tracks for years to come. Their original pin mount design hasn't changed, and that's a good thing: it is intuitive, lightweight, and delivers the goods. The Blaze's highbacks are medium-stiff, making for a smooth and predictable all-around ride, and feature Rip'N'Flip instant adjustability between tour and ride modes. All the hardware and straps are worthy of the Spark R&D name. The TR is short for "tour ready," something the Blaze definitely still is.

Tour Mode:
Pin Mount: Stainless steel pin attached via a cable. Pin is pushed through the binding and touring bracket and held in place by tucking the arm of the pin under the toe strap next to your boot to lock the binding in tour.
Dual Height Climbing Wires: Now made in-house by Spark R&D. Wires offer 12° and 18° angles for comfort on any skin track.
Baseplate:
CNC Aluminum: CNC machined baseplates with maximum cutouts shave weight, yet maintain strength and performance.
Straps:
Lightweight, Low-Profile Straps: 3D low profile ankle and toe straps use Burton’s time tested and industry-leading fabrics and buckles made to Spark R&D's specifications.
Buckles:
Burton Buckles: All straps incorporate Burton's bomber buckles. Ladders and adjusters are produced in-house with unique thermoplastics that maintain flex over a wide temperature range, performing well on spring tours as well as sub-zero suffer fests.
Highback:
Rip ‘N’ Flip Highbacks: The Blaze TR Rip ‘N’ Flip highback comes in a nice medium flex for a surfy ride down.
Compatibility:
Compatible with Mr. Chomps Crampons
Puck Compatibility: Blaze TR pin mount bindings are compatible with Spark Pucks, Spark Canted Pucks and Voile Pucks.
