Fusion In-Mold Polycarbonate Shell: A process pioneered by Bell bonds the helmet's outer shell to the EPS foam liner to create a sturdier helmet.
Construction:
Progressive Layering™: The process of engineering a helmet liner with variable EPS foam densities to better manage the transfer of energies after some impacts.
Fit:
Float Fit DH™ with Fidlock Buckle: Float Fit DH™ is a lightweight and super comfortable fit system featuring an easy-to-turn rubber overmolded dial for adjustments. The SNAP Fidlock Buckle closes automatically and can be opened with ease, literally with just two fingers.
Vents:
Overbrow Ventilation™: Actively ushers cool air over the head and regulates temperature by drawing cool air into the intake ports and circulating it through a matrix of air channels.
Additional Features:
MIPS® Spherical: MIPS® Spherical is built into the helmet between two different layers of foam, one of high density EPS and one of lower density EPP. This ball-and-socket can move several millimeters in any direction in the case of impact.
Wraparound Protection™: Removable protective chin bar, designed for trail riding adaptability. Attaches with a simple 3-step connection process — no tools required.
X-Static® + XT-2® Padding: Quick-drying pad materials that are woven with real silver fibers to inhibit growth of odor-causing bacteria and fungi.
