DC Scout Snowboard Boots 2008

The DC Scout Boot was inspired by DC’s skate shoe aesthetics—which might help explain its illin’ style—and for 2008 DC gave the Scout a facelift to keep its styling on point. Featuring a water-resistant synthetic leather upper designed to keep moisture where it belongs (outside your boot), and a sole to deliver amazing traction in all kinds of snow, the DC Scout also makes the Boa Lacing System available at an entry-level price. And we know how you like more bang for your buck! Destined for greatness, designed for you, the DC Scout Boot brings you the best of DC style and technology at a penny-pinching price.

Other Features:
Boa Lacing System — Allows for precise and effortless fit adjustments. The Boa evenly distributes pressure and allows for micro-adjustments to the lacing. It’s simple: push in the knob and twist clockwise to tighten, pull out the knob and push the tongue forward to loosen.
Delta Liner — Offers the bare essentials in DC snowboarding boot liners. It’s built of lightweight foam and has a front lacing system with reinforced lace locks, so you can get your foot in the liner—and get onto the mountain—more quickly and with less fuss.
Lightweight Water Resistance — Just because a boot keeps moisture out doesn’t mean it should weigh a ton. A synthetic upper and mesh panels keep the boot lightweight and water-resistant, so you don’t have to wear a water-logged boot.
Foam Padding — Calf area is lined with soft, comfortable padding to help keep your calves from getting tenderized.
Sticky Rubber Outsole — Rubber on the outsole is sticky for grip and highly abrasion-resistant, helping extend the boot’s lifespan.
