Arc'teryx Beta AR Jacket

The Arc'teryx Beta AR Jacket is perhaps Arc'teryx's most versatile GORE-TEX® Pro shell, suitable for both snow sports and alpine missions, and built for years of hard use. The AR version uses a combination of 40 denier and 80 denier fabrics, with the heavier weight covering high wear areas. Even with this extra "burliness" factor, the Beta AR weighs only 455 grams in a medium, and packs super small when you need it to. A must-have for serious year-round mountain enthusiasts.

N40p-X 109 g/m² 100% Nylon Plain Weave: A high tenacity nylon face fabric with a flat filament warp yarn and false twist textured fill yarn, backed with a micro-grid woven backer. This fabric is lightweight, durable, and has excellent water repellency. DWR finish.
N80p 167 g/m² 100% Nylon Plain Weave: Tighly woven mid-weight fabric with excellent durability and a DWR finish.
Waterproof & Breathable Membrane:
GORE-TEX Pro: Durably waterproof, windproof, and extremely breathable. Garments made with GORE-TEX Pro combine comfort with reliable weather protection, even during extended activities in extreme weather. Made to meet the high demands of (ski) mountaineers, freeriders, mountain guides, and serious outdoor enthusiasts.
