With a limited edition CudaSkin construction that blends aluminum coated fiberglass with a carbon inlay stringer, we proudly present the Phase Five Hammerhead LTD Wakesurf Board. Born to provide even more stiffness and durability, the Hammerhead LTD is noticeably more explosive popping off the lip than its Gatorskin™ brethren. That said, this bad boy features the same squared off nose and traditional back-foot steering feel of a single fin. Construction and Materials:
CudaSkin™ | Aluminum Fiber Technology: New performance technology delivered exclusively to you from Phase Five. This aluminum coated fiberglass offers a fresh new look and feel on the water. Reinforced with Phase Five's carbon inlay stringer, the two materials work together resulting in explosive pop and durability you know and expect from Phase Five.
Polyester: Polyester resin is the most widely used resin in the composite industry. It provides quality strength and durability.
V.R.T. (Vacuum Ribbed Technology): Refined vaccuum assisted hand lamination process with built in glass/bar stringers on the bottom edge of the board for extra strength and pop.
Shape:
3/4" (.75") Thick: More float, less responsive. Comes either continuous or tapered.
Tapered Core: 3/4" thick board that is thinned out on the nose and tail to 5/8". Increased sensitivity and response when applied to 3/4". Used on most 3/4" boards.
Squared Off Nose: Rides revert very well.
Fins:
Single Fin: Center solo fin setup found on most of Phase Five Skim Style wakesurfers. Least amount of drag offering the most speed and agility.
Additional Features:
Propel Finish: Proprietary material used to create their digital graphic inlays.
PolyLam™ Gloss: PloyLam gloss finish provides a very clean and attractive looking baord. Featured in Phase Five's premium performance skim style boards.
