The Phase Five Hammerhead Wakesurf Board is 7x World Champion Drew Danielo's unorthodox brainchild. With a squared off nose and square tail this board doesn't care which end is in front -- the squared nose provides stability and speed when riding revert. Wrapped with Phase Five's GatorSkin™ technology, the Hammerhead is not only stiff, fast, and lightweight, but also their most durable layup. With the Phase Five Hammerhead Wakesurf Board, a little luck, and a lot of practice, you might just be able to ride like Drew.

Product Details

Construction and Materials:
GatorSkin™: Super tough Carbon and Aramid glass. The strongest material Phase Five uses. This lightweight material makes a very fast/stiff board for those demanding the best performance.
Polyester: Polyester resin is the most widely used resin in the composite industry. It provides quality strength and durability.
V.R.T. (Vacuum Ribbed Technology): Refined vaccuum assisted hand lamination process with built in glass/bar stringers on the bottom edge of the board for extra strength and pop.
Shape:
3/4" (.75") Thick: More float, less responsive. Comes either continuous or tapered.
Tapered Core: 3/4" thick board that is thinned out on the nose and tail to 5/8". Increased sensitivity and response when applied to 3/4". Used on most 3/4" boards.
Squared Off Nose: Easily handles switch riding.
Rails/Edges:
Parallel Rail Outline: Locks into wave.
Fins:
Single Fin: Center solo fin setup found on most of Phase Five Skim Style wakesurfers. Least amount of drag offering the most speed and agility.
