Made from Recycled Wool: For a natural fiber, wool is surprisingly sophisticated: durable and elastic, comfortable to wear and extremely functional in both warm and cold climates. The crimped, hollow structure of wool fibers can trap large quantities of air that insulates. Wool wicks moisture away from the body (which might otherwise cool you down) and it is the only fiber that insulates even when it is damp. It is particularly clever when switching between heavy and light work, as it helps to regulate your temperature. Wool is also naturally resistant to dirt and bad odors. Fjällräven uses different types of wool depending on the desired function; regular wool, lamb's wool and merino wool are a few examples.
