The Rossignol Scratch series of bindings features the same design and technology as the Axial 2 bindings, without the lifters. This makes the Scratch more lightweight for bigger airs and easier spins, and enhances snow feel for better control. The Scratch bindings have a re-designed heel piece that applies more pressure to the edge of the ski for enhanced power transmission. They also have been retooled so that the forward pressure has been increased by 30%. This yields a more exact coupling of skier and ski, greatly improving energy transmission for powerful performance.
