Blizzard Quattro 8.4 Ti Skis + XCELL12 Bindings 2018

If you live to lay 'em over and leave deep trenches in fresh corduroy, the Blizzard Quattro 8.4 Ti Skis + XCELL 12 Bindings should be at the top of your wishlist for 2017. The Quattro Series is Blizzard's new line of groomer skis that emphasize edgehold, precision, and stability; and the Quattro 8.4 Ti represents the highest-performing, widest Quattro model. With a carefully calculated carbon-Titanal-wood construction, a 2 mm rocker in the tip and tail, and an IQ Binding System that lets the ski flex as naturally as possible, the Quattro 8.4 Ti rails like the Orient Express and craves speed like Craig Breedlove. The use of the Quattro name is more than coincidental; if you've ever driven an all-wheel drive Audi you'll understand the level of handling Blizzard was shooting for (in Europe there are a number of Audi/Blizzard promotions planned for the coming season).

Product Details

Rocker Type:
Rocker / Camber / Rocker: Ski profile with 2 mm of mild rocker at the tip and tail, and camber in the middle. Reducing the pressure on the edge at the tip and tail makes the ski easier to handle without sacrificing edge performance, while camber guarantees great grip on packed snow. Rocker / Camber / Rocker
Laminates:
IQ Sandwich Ti Carbon Construction: Blizzard's highest performing Quattro construction utilizes Titanal, carbon and select woods to maximize stability, edgehold, and rebound.
Sidewalls:
Compound Sidewall Ti
Base:
Sintered Graphite Base
Binding Plate:
IQ System: The IQ system is the only true fusion of ski body and binding element. The natural performance and flex of the ski are not influenced by any mounting, drilling, screwing or gluing of separate interfaces, elements or the binding itself. This exclusive technology guarantees natural ski flex, direct transmission of forces from skier to ski and a lighter construction for more effortless skiing and a fast, simple binding fit.
Included Bindings:
Bindings Do Not Come Mounted to Skis: Always have a certified binding technician mount and adjust your bindings.
Includes XCELL12 Bindings: DIN Range 4 - 12
Additional Features:
Suspension: A polyamide structure built into the ski’s construction and connected to an elastic dampening system guarantees less vibrations, a more dynamic ski and better edge grip for greater control and more effortless skiing. Suspension
Dura-Tec: Improved durability through the use of 20% thicker TPU foils, a textured topsheet surface, IQ rails with larger radii than average, and new 75% stronger tip and tail protectors. Dura-Tec
