The Aesmo Phantom 153 OG Pow Surfer is a fast and nimble ride for the boarder that slashes, rips, and doesn't need any stinking bindings to hold them back. Built short and wide for epic float in the deep stuff with maneuverability like a short board thanks to 3D construction, those adventurous enough to hop on and go for it will be rewarded with experiences unlike anything you can get on a traditional snowboard. Hyper Channel – The channel, a concept taken from surfing, was adapted and reinvented for the best bindingless performance. The flat surface area in the middle of the board makes for great stability and lift in powder. The channels allow the board to tilt on each side and dig in an edge which gives the board control in turns, to traverse and for jumps. They act much like a fin in a surfboard. But rather than being placed at the tail end, the channels run in the middle of the board in between your feet.It enables you to draw the line you want and let you navigate the board even on slopes to reach your next powder run.

Powder Powder snowboards love powder. Often associated with freeride snowboards, powder boards sometimes feature a wider nose and a tapered narrower tail. The binding inserts, which determine the rider's stance, are often set back on a powder snowboard to help the rider float the tip of the board through the deep stuff. Powder snowboards sometimes also feature rocker, a design element where the tip (and tail) rise starts farther back on the board, which also helps the rider maintain tip float through the pow.

Rocker A rocker board side profile is the opposite of a camber board, with a smooth downward curvature to it and less edge contact length when the board is weighted. Rocker boards float well in powder and pivot more easily underfoot. They also tend to be less “hooky” at both tip and tail and better for landing spin maneuvers when you don’t quite have enough rotation.

Many manufacturers will give a number rating ranging from 1-10, 1 being softest and 10 being stiffest. Here at evo we have standardized the manufacturers' number ratings to a feel rating ranging from soft to very stiff.
